We weren’t technically allowed to use “The GOAT’s” name in the spot, so we used the Super Bowl pre-game show to start seeding the idea before the spot aired. The press picked up on the conversation.
Other Big Game advertisers accidentally helped us seed the idea further.
The spot itself made international news, with publications appreciating the cheekiness of the idea. And Paramount+ got record breaking sign ups to watch the UEFA Champions League.
