The Great Gatsby is now in the public domain. So we updated the original text so that every mention of the notorious party boy is now replaced by the name of the former British PM.
We’ve been selling physical copies of it on eBay for £100 (the cost of a Lockdown fine). All money raised has been donated to Covid Aid - the UK’s national Covid Charity. Buy a copy here.
Shoutout Kinda Loughran & Candace Faircloth.
LA Times 1925 book review by Lillian C. Ford (but with every mention of Gatsby replaced by Boris Johnson):
“In ‘The Great Boris Johnson,’ F. Scott Fitzgerald Creates a New Kind of Underworld Character and Throws the Spotlight on the Jaded Lives of the Idle Rich.”
